Falaise - Le Vey, Clecy

 Tuesday 14th April

First stop today after leaving the Camping-Car Park, was a quick visit to the chateau again.  Reason - John had left his sunglasses on the reception desk yesterday.  A phone call had confirmed that they were there.  We then spent the rest of the morning visiting the Automates Avenue Museum.  It has a collection of more than 300 automatons still in working order, that were made for the Christmas shop windows of Paris in the first half of the 1900s.

From a balcony above, you can see that each display is in a shop window in a Paris street.  A fun exhibition to see.

And then we moved on a few miles west into Suisse Normande, to stay at a campsite, les Rochers des Parcs, just across the Rive Orne from Clecy.

From the bridge.

Settling in with a cuppa and gateau!
